Backed by generations of athletes, Wilson is the true American icon in the world of sports equipment.
Wilson is the world's leading manufacturer of ball sports equipment. Our core sports are tennis, baseball, American football, golf, basketball, softball, badminton and squash. The Wilson business is structured into three business areas: Racquet Sports, Team Sports and Golf.
Headquartered in Chicago, in the United States, Wilson employed 1,919 people at the end of 2006. Our dedicated sales network serves customers in over 100 countries.
Wilson is an Amer Sports Company. Amer Sports is based in Helsinki, Finland.
Wilson is the No. 1 American football company and No. 2 baseball company in the world.
The Wilson Team Sports business is directed from Chicago, in the United States, and we employed 758 people at the end of 2006.
DeMarini Sports, Inc. is a manufacturer of sporting equipment, primarily baseball and softball bats.
Established in 1989, DeMarini Sports took the bat industry by storm with the world's first high-tech softball bat. Acquired by Wilson Sporting Goods in 2000, DeMarini continues to research, design and build high-performance softball and baseball bats in its state-of-the-art Hillsboro, Oregon facility.
DeMarini’s Doublewall technology employs two independent walls to create a “springboard” hitting surface, extending the center of percussion along the length of the barrel. DeMarini Doublewall bats outperform conventional multi-wall bats with a patented lubrication layer that reduces friction and binding between walls.
More that 150 college baseball programs have joined the uprising of DeMarini bats. The top teams in the nation use them, including Oregon State University, the repeat College World Series Champions. The 2007 NCAA Division II and III championship teams also use DeMarini equipment.
DeMarini has three Adult Baseball bat models: the Vexxum, the Voodoo, and the cF3.
